John Mastrokoukos, Mayor of Kalymnos

John Mastrokoukos is the current Mayor of Kalymnos, having taken office on January 1, 2024. He was born and raised in Kalymnos and has been actively involved in issues concerning the progress and development of the island. Guided by cooperation and transparency, he has set as his priorities the upgrading of municipal services and the improvement of citizens' daily lives.

As mayor, he has organized a modern municipal administration with new structures and responsibilities, emphasizing tourism, health, welfare, and sustainable development. His goal is to exploit the potential of Kalymnos, improve infrastructure, and strengthen social policies for the benefit of residents and visitors.

With a vision of an extroverted, innovative, and humane Kalymnos, John Mastrokoukos works to promote projects and actions that highlight the island's culture, history, and natural wealth.
